Doggy Hair-Do’s and Dont’s

Pups often like to be pampered, just like we do. Being pampered is nice, but regular grooming is a must. Be sure that you know your doggo and the maintenance their coat requires. We always want our pups to look fresh and stylish. 

The Basics

Different hairstyles and animal-friendly dyes are lots of fun! Most dogs, however, just need the basics. If your pup is known to have a shorter coat, keep it short. If your doggo is prone to a longer coat, keep it long. Just make sure that it never drags onto the floor and that your pup can see! 

Let’s Get Dapper

Sticking to the basics is low-key and easy, but some of us are more high-fashion. If you and your pup need a pop of color, try using animal-friendly fur coloring. It’s typically temporary and always safe for pets! There’s also plenty of accessories available, which allow for a variety of hairstyles. Especially for those with longer lengths, braiding and pony-tails are a great option, as are twists and wraps! Scarves and bows are also great fashion pieces. Don’t hesitate and ask your groomer how to make your dog look its best!
